Mother's Prayer to Choose Birth

Jesus, Beloved Savior, You are the Light of the World. Those who follow You do not walk in darkness. Please give me your Light and your Grace that I might see my way through this difficult decision and be guided my your Light alone.

Dear Savior, guide me as I weigh the alternatives and help me to keep the needs and rights of others clearly in view.

Come Holy Spirit and help me with this difficult decision. Give me wisdom and understanding, patience and courage that I might know and abide by the Will of my Heavenly Father. That my decision in this matter leads me further along the path toward Him rather than away from Him.

Heavenly Father, who has given us the great gift of life, bless and guide me and all pregnant women that we might respect and cherish the gift of life growing within us. Help each of us to accept our child as an irreplaceable gift from You. Bless my pre-born baby and all babies yet unborn. Watch over them as they grow and develop in the embrace of our motherly wombs. Form them and shape them that they might be born healthy. Grant that they might be welcomed at birth with tender love and deep joy.

O most loving Triune God I ask you to bless those babies who are unwanted and will never be born. Welcome them into your loving embrace that they might find their home in You. Amen
